Modern Two-Tone Kitchen Remodel in Andover, MA

The goal was a kitchen that felt more open and worked better for everyday living and for entertaining. The redesigned layout adds workspace and storage and lets the light from several windows become part of the design; the farmhouse-style sink sits between two of them.

Custom two-tone cabinetry gives the room its look: dark lower cabinets against white upper and perimeter cabinets. The contrast reads as modern while keeping a New England feel, and extensive custom cabinetry adds kitchen storage.

A large center island anchors the room, with extra prep space, storage and seating, under glass pendant lights. The countertops are expansive quartz.

A full-height white hexagonal ceramic tile backsplash adds texture and a clean backdrop for the stainless appliances and the wall-mounted stainless range hood. Brass-toned hardware, a brass-toned faucet and the pendants bring warmth, alongside natural hardwood floors.

The kitchen has an induction cooktop under the range hood, built-in wall ovens, a built-in microwave, a beverage refrigerator and open display shelving, plus recessed lighting.
