Ryan Norman graduated from Sanborn Regional High School in 1998 and started Norman Builders in 2007. In his own words on our About page, "my family and I reside just five houses down the street from the home I built, and my parents still live in the house where I grew up." Our White Cedar Way custom home is a ground-up build of about 3,100 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, completed in 2025 with a $1,000,000 budget band. The family wanted classic New England architecture that would suit an active household and feel bright inside, so the street side reads as a farmhouse, with white James Hardie lap siding, black Andersen windows, several front-facing gables, a covered porch and an attached two-car garage. Inside, an open main floor centers on a custom kitchen with quartz counters, and the primary suite has walk-in closets. Behind the finishes is a high-performance, energy-efficient building envelope.

White Cedar Lane in Newton is a Norman Builders private subdivision of eight lots, set among more than 100 acres of conservation land with walking trails.
