Ryan Norman – Owner & Founder – Norman Builders

Thank you for visiting our website! My name is Ryan Norman, and I am the founder and owner of Norman Builders. I started this business in 2007 after working in technology, real estate, and property management. Currently, I live in Newton, NH with my wife, Alyson; our seven-year-old daughter, Rylee; and our ten-year-old son, Max. We built a home five houses down the street from where I grew up; in fact, my parents still live there today. My father, Dale, who was employed as a union master carpenter for twenty-five years and now works for Norman Builders, gets rave reviews from our customers for his exceptional craftsmanship.

I have lived in Newton, NH for most of my life. After graduating from Sanborn Regional High School in 1998, I attended Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH and decided to pursue a major in computer science. After my sophomore year, I accepted an offer as a full-time consultant in the high tech field and began to pursue a career in information technology. Shortly thereafter, I became the Director of Information Technologies for a global software company and even had the honor of being published in Windows Magazine. After a couple of years in the field, however, I decided to explore other career opportunities, and I obtained my real estate license.

While working as a real estate agent, I developed an interest in property management and new home construction, so I acquired my Massachusetts Builders License. I used my technical and project management expertise, in conjunction with my interpersonal skills, to start a construction company that focuses on remodeling and building. I learned that this is my true passion, and, over the past ten years, my team and I have completed well over 100 custom projects ranging in price from $10,000 to over $500,000. We have constructed dozens of additions, remodeled kitchens and bathrooms, and built custom homes.
